Its January 2010. Its the first quarter of January 2010 to be precise. And the start of the year is apt time to set new goals. Try as I may to avoid coming across as cynical, I often get derailed from those fresh goals before January even comes to an end. Like most people, probably. There is just so much to do everyday. The brand new ambitions get pushed aside to tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow, and cut from the nourishment of attention and invested effort, those poor ambitions wither away.
Thats why I decided to start this blog. This time, there is one thing I want to get accomplished by this year.
I am going to earn £100 from writing.
This blog is going to document my journey writing to that £100. It will also be the a reminder and encouragement to stick to that path, when not so far in the foreseeable future, academic demands, countless hours of dancing and running the largest sports club in my university detours me from that £100 goal. So, dear readers, that journey is the tale and I am its protagonist and sole character. At least for now.
